ThinkTac is a social enterprise designing and delivering hands-on, experiential programmes, face-to-face & online, providing materials & resources to create, experiment, tinker, innovate and learn science, inculcating scientific temper & improving cognitive skills. 300 activities, covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology cover over 700 topics in the NCERT III-X curriculum. The activities use simple materials and are designed for exploration and achieve deep conceptual understanding. The programmes are facilitated by Teachers, who are enabled by a training programme, handholding and extensive resources. We analyse pictures of the models, observation tables and student feedback to assess without testing and provide actionable feedback to children and monitoring support to parents and schools. The programme engages the child with fun activities encouraging curiosity and sparking innovation. It guides them through observation and exploration, developing scientific temper and problem solving skills. Tools help teachers monitor the child’s progress and intervene when the child needs help and ensure that the activity is translated to deep conceptual understanding. We are winners of the Elevate 100 Programme recognising Karnataka top 100 innovative companies and have also qualified for the National Finals of the Economic Times Leaders of Tomorrow Winning Pitch from the South Zone.
