In normal school classes, a lot of students lose the interest in the subject for many reasons. One of them is the lack of tangible application of the concepts they learn and connection with the real world. On the other hand when students learn an extra curricular activity or any skill, they just learn it by practice. A lot of them lack the understanding of how things work, the math, physics and biology behind them. Even though this way of learning by just practicing helps them develop the skill, they will lack an appreciation of that art or skill beyond the ability to perform well. Why does certain notes makes us happy, what kind of mathematical patterns are soothing to us, how is sound produced in a flute- these are all really interesting questions for a student who is going to learn that particular skill. Learning these things gives the student an opportunity to understand both the worlds; art and core subjects. It also helps the student develop a new found interest in those subjects. This way of looking at teaching extra curricular activities is completly lacking in most of the mainstream approaches. We develop more interest in learning and provide an opportunity to understand the depths of how instruments and skills are developed by unveiling those secrets using the basic principles students learn in the school textbooks. This in turn makes the students look at the old textbooks in a new light where they will find a new interest in learning those subjects. We also let's the students learn from the best performers in those fields so that, once we develop the product, the opportunity to learn from such teachers, which was available to only the rich 1% of the people will now be available to even the students in the remotest part of the country. We make sure our solution is accessible to the students in small towns and villages by providing a video solution which they can stream by taking there own time. Compared to other live classes, these are implementable and accessible not only in the future when the streaming becomes smooth in the remotest part of the country, but also now when the people in villages and small towns have difficulty getting proper internet. To counter one of the disadvantages of this approach where the students loses a live interaction with teachers, we solve it by providing an opportunity to connect with teachers through phone calls. This is a very different way of approaching the problem compared to others who try to solve the problem. Combining this with an opportunity to participate in competition by being at the comfort of their home, we provide a really unique solution. Let's again look at the components that makes our solution special compared to everything out there. First, we have cross discipline interpretation of the skills the students learn; when we teach a skill like playing guitar, we let the users understand how it works using subjects like math and science. This helps them develop a better appreciation for learning guitar and subjects that they learn in school. Conducting competitions and connecting students with coaches to get a live interaction over the phone takes care of one of the bottlenecks of internet access, which generally gets skipped by most of the solution providers out there.
