In their own words
Tangelo is a healthy, low calorie, sugar free and vegan ice cream and dessert brand that is free of artificial flavours, ingredients, colours and preservatives. We use plant-based sweeteners safe for diabetics. All our products are available in dairy and vegan options. The reason for popularity amongst our customers is because our ice creams and desserts use real, natural ingredients, are low calorie, vegan and healthy yet taste as good as the original. We believe that being healthy doesn't mean depriving yourself of your favourite ice creams and desserts. We currently sell D2C in Delhi NCR via cloud kitchens and one outlet at Select CityWalk Mall in Delhi. The outlet at Select CityWalk is the sells on Vegan ice creams and is the only such outlet in the mall. During the pandemic our D2C business grew very strongly and we have a large number of repeat customers. We are currently bootstrapped and have therefore spent no money on our website, social media marketing - our sales have grown word of mouth. We are seeking investment for digital marketing (branding, website and social media), grow our distribution network and expand our manufacturing facility as we are currently operating at full capacity with basic machinery.
