In these times of sky touching inflations, electric vehicles are the need of the hour and future of the automobile industry. The condition of farmers is well known to everyone, the fuel hike has burdened the already burdened farming sector of India and an innovation or intervention of technology is necessary. An “Electric Tractor” would be a massive boon for the agricultural sector. An electric tractor requires no fossil fuel, is not a threat to the environment as it is a ‘Zero emission vehicle’ and works at almost half the operating cost of traditionally used combustion engine tractors. It was initially a final year engineering project but the team has decided to scale it up and commercialise the concept up-to export level with a variety of models as per application.
