The primary problem my desalination company is solving is the global freshwater scarcity caused by increasing population, industrialization, and climate change. Coastal regions, which have easy access to seawater, still struggle with a lack of affordable and sustainable freshwater solutions. Conventional desalination technologies, such as reverse osmosis systems, heavily depend on high-pressure pumps powered by fuels like diesel, petrol, or electricity. These systems are expensive to build, costly to operate, and environmentally damaging due to their significant energy consumption and carbon footprint.
