The Bartan Company was started in 2019 by four women as a cutlery bank renting steel utensils to people who wished to avoid Single Use Plastic disposables in their home parties. The social enterprise has organically grown ever since to enable and conduct ZERO WASTE EVENTS in and around Hyderabad. Till date, this all women run social enterprise has enabled more than 50 zero waste functions (weddings, house warming, anniversaries etc.), while being a part of over 500 events courtesy its arsenal of steel utensils saving countless single use disposables from hitting the landfill.
