The Grain Shop is the venture of providing market linkage through mobile App to rural Community. Brief of project are as under: Vision: Vision of The Grain Shop is bringing Purity of Farms to Indian Plates and providing Justified prices to rural Farmer’s FPOs and SHGs. Mission: Making rural India food manufacturing hub till point of saturation, by promoting their pure & healthy products in urban India. Bridging gap of economic inequality. The Grain Shop is a venture of being “Vocal for Local” in both ways i.e. Mobile App technology employed is developed by Local young engineers for making Local products of villagers Vocal in urban areas. Till date there is no one in the market who is working on the concept of making FPOs or SHGs as their direct vendor. In one way or the other there is an involvement of some intermediaries in the supply chain that makes the product costlier/ adulterated or compromises with the quality supplied to the end consumer. Innovation in the project involves: 1) Use of mobile Application for more effective monitoring & working. 2) Minimum human efforts and maximum deliverable, ultimately benefiting the rural community. 3) Justified price of produce to cultivator/ rural enterprise paid at their farms and quality products at competitive rates delivered at door- step to consumer. 4) This project will provide time to time grooming to SHG for the quality produce to make it compete with the market. Young IT professionals who are having their roots in the project area has come up with this user friendly Mobile App for marketing and selling of cereals, flours, Pulses, spices, milk & milk products, farm fresh vegetables & fruits etc. cultivated/ produced and processed in villages of India. Entire rural community is the stake-holder in this venture. Farmers/ SHGs/ SHG Federation/ Village based small scale/cottage Industries/ FPOs etc will be the Vendor/ supplier in The Grain Shop App. We are providing a on- door supply of products of our vendors through our mobile App. 1) The App is designed to promote sale of the farm produces of Farmers and products of SHGs that means the major stakeholder is rural community. 2) Through this mechanism we can promote rural community as “Makers” in our concept - Make in India. 3) This App will help in bridging the gap of economic inequality between the rural and the the urban community. 4) This App will help to serve urban Community nutritious, healthy and unadulterated Foods, cultivated, processed & packaged in Indian villages. Unique features of The Grain Shop  Especially designed to minimize the spread of pendamic COVID-19 by contact less & safe handling system.  Close monitoring of the procurement, deliveries, pricing, stock management etc.  Artificial intelligence is introduced in this App for enabling decision making for marketing of products.  Google Map integrated for convenience in delivery & collection.  Invoice generation & send through SMS to save paper.  Provision of Pop-ups & push notifications to end customers for offers, new arrivals, FPO/ SHG other’s description with their products.
