Project Title: Production of flow control refractories for steel plants Project Description: Thermoflyde Industries Private Limited is being formed with the aim of making world-class refractory products. The focus being steel plants, our main products are flow control refractories along with monolithic refractories. The company is backed by a technology driven team and the team consists of young first generation entrepreneurs as well as experienced technocrats from IIT Hyderabad (Aditya Aagare, Tarun Banoth), IIT Bombay(MD Ayaj) and BIT MESRA(MVR RAO). With a capacity of 10,000 tons/annum, we would serve the steel plants throughout the country. Hyderabad being equidistant from all the major cities is chosen for this project. We have tied up with IIT Hyderabad for testing, evaluation, and validation of the innovation in the refractory products done by us. We are in talks with Technology Development Board(TDB), Delhi for the capital investment. We intend to approach State Finance Corporation(Telangana) also for the balance loan component. Technology: Homegrown innovative technology for improving productivity and reducing the input cost of the product. All promoters have experience in the similar field and in all areas like production, quality, R&D, product development, marketing and skill development.
