TRANSFORMATION SKILLS – EMPOWERING WOMEN Demographically, India is poised to have the largest and youngest employable population in the world by 2020, but the rapid decline in female labour workforce participation poses a sharp contrast and is a serious concern. There has been a rapid decline in percentage of women workforce over the years. Studies show that 50% of the women discontinue work during mid-career due to many socio-cultural compulsions. With a vision towards enhancing greater participation and employability, Transformation Skills - a Start-up organization by the women and for the women works at the grass root level to help women build sustainable careers under the supportive guidance of Niti-Aayog. The organization is powered by team of competent women and a well-defined strategy and methodology with focus on achieving the mind-set shift necessary to tackle the socio-cultural constraints that hinder women from achieving their career goals. We train women at the bottom of the pyramid to get them gainfully employed and look at a balance of work and life. Staying on with their career is a matter of both right mind-set and right skillset and to address this T-Skills uses unique DESIGN THINKING METHODOLOGY and latest technologies to empower thousands of women. The vision of Transformation skills is to equip 10,000 women with adequate job-oriented skills and career by the year 2020.
