Trugo is designed to connect shippers with nearby trucks on demand, thereby creating efficiencies in booking and tracking the loads instantly. It intends to deal with those 90% fleet owners who own 5 or less trucks and take majority of the This amounts to revolutionizing the $130 BN Indian trucking industry on almost all fronts. Basic tool is Trugo's simple mobile application that will help shippers send the load information to nearby trucks who can accept the load or pass it on. Its not mere load market place or load board where one simply puts the load and wait for someone to pick it up. Here, technology determines the best fit truck for the said load based on some characteristics of the load and factors such as proximity of the truck to the load, size and type of the truck. The would-be carrier has the option to accept or reject within a stipulated time before it goes to next best alternative carrier. Trugo's pricing algorithms sets the price in a transparent manner considering load characteristics and prevailing market prices. It would also consider other variables like freight type, assessorial, distance, urgency of the pickup/delivery etc. Live feedback tools will be created to give a right perspective to carrier and shipper about how the price compares with expected for the kind of load and route being considered. All this will be done using machine learning algorithms. Shippers will be bale to track all their shipments end to end using the platform. Shippers will have the option of a mobile app or a webapp to use the platform. Corporate shippers will be able to take Trugo Widget to integrate it into their ERP systems to prepare the shipments and using the shipment characteristics and find the best fit carrier from within the same system. This will make business' supply chain much leaner. Shippers and Carriers can manage complete documentation and contracts using this platform and also keep a track of shipment using GPS systems. Trugo will also allow them to buy insurance at a discounted price and also in future generate e-waybill automatically. Carriers will be able to manage their truck using prescriptive insights generated using all the data coming from telematics sensors, monitors their fuel use, and monitor overall driving behavior. In future, Trugo will include insights to influence drivers' behavior. Lastly, both Shippers and Carriers can rate each other for the experience they have had with each other. First release of Trugo will have features that are required for minimum viability operations and will effectively eliminate middlemen from the market place.
