Tryka Gears (www.trykagears.com) is the story of two bikers, who live and breathe bikes. The roaring sound of a revving engine , the numbing noise of the exhaust , the sleek maneuvering on treacherous roads are some of the things that give a high to this riding duo. It was this incredible love for bikes that brought about TRYKA Gears, a startup that is into building biking accessories. As ardent bikers, they experienced many challenging issues on road, particularly related to biker's visibility in foggy weather and dimly lit roads. To make road journeys easier and safer for two-wheeler riders under such dark and hazy conditions became the premise of their first project- Pharos . Also, statistics indicate that a significant percentage of two-wheeler mishaps occur because either the rider is not visible to other road users or has slipped into a blind spot due to escalating traffic. With this thought, Tryka Gears launched its first indigenous product -Pharos, a light based wearable device that takes less than a minute to mount on a helmet. Designed to be efficient on other aspects as well, Pharos is rechargeable, lightweight, portable, rain proof, easy to use and compatible with most helmets. An evolved version of Pharos is currently under development and will pack in more features, to further widen the safety net of riders. With an interesting range of products in the pipeline, Tryka Gears is bracing up to cater to the growing needs of the biker community.
