Get My Crop (GMC) is a technology-led, social-impact agritech startup transforming how India's smallholder farmers reach global markets. India is the world's second-largest producer of fruits and vegetables, yet less than 1.5% of global agri-trade is Indian. The gap isn't the farmers — it's the broken bridge between them and international buyers. GMC is building that bridge. Our platform connects Indian farmers directly to importers across the GCC, Europe, Southeast Asia, and beyond, eliminating the layers of middlemen who today capture 60–70% of the export margin. We do this through a three-sided technology stack: a buyer dashboard with AI-driven farm matching, live shipment tracking, and end-to-end traceability; a WhatsApp-based farmer interface in local Indian languages so even first-generation digital users can participate; and an internal operations system that stays continuously updated on country-specific import laws, pesticide residue limits, weather, and live market rates. What makes GMC different is the technology built into every shipment. Each consignment carries IoT sensors that stream live GPS, temperature, and humidity data to the buyer until the container is opened in their country. Behind this is our proprietary AI Shipment Advisor — a hybrid system combining deterministic produce-physiology data, route-climate modelling, and machine-learning synthesis — that tells our operations team the exact pre-cooling, packaging, and reefer protocols needed to deliver fresh produce halfway across the world without spoilage. Equally central is the cause. GMC operates alongside the GMC Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit that channels CSR funds from Indian corporates into farmer credit at 1% interest, certified inputs (seeds, fertilisers, drip systems), agronomy training, and women's collectives. The Foundation earns no profit from farmers; the commercial company earns only when their produce successfully reaches global buyers. The two entities share a mission
