TurboTech Aircraft Private Limited (TAPL) is an aerospace startup founded in 2022, based in Bangalore, India. TAPL is currently working on an innovative high-payload cargo Rotary-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (RUAV) powered by a turbo-shaft engine. The intent of the RUAV is to provide users with a reliable means of transporting 100-200 kg cargo payloads over distances of 20 – 200 km autonomously without requiring a runway or other infrastructure. Such a RUAV will be developed in India for the first time and will offer users a unique capability for logistics. The product introduction is slated for FY 2024-25.
