AI has become an integral part of many Healthcare Diagnostics Applications. TURNIT AI has taken up the challenge of providing AI Assisted Real Time Diagnosis tools for Physicians in the niche area of DDH (Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip) which mostly affects infants. If diagnosed at the right time it can be corrected avoiding a lot of societal, physiological issues associated with this condition thereby greatly improving the quality of life for the infant. Integrating AI into healthcare diagnostics holds excellent potential for improving disease diagnosis, treatment selection, and clinical laboratory testing. AI offers increased accuracy, reduced costs, and time savings while minimizing human errors. It can revolutionize personalized medicine, enhance population health management, provide virtual health assistants, improve patient education, and influence patient-physician trust. Our startup is concentrating on using image AI models for object detection, object classification, object segmentation algorithms and also other image processing algorithms to get patterns and measurements from scan images acquired using Ultrasound Machines, X-Rays, MRIs, CT Scans and other radiology equipment. The algorithms which we are going to develop will assist the physician to diagnose the problem without much effort and will run on the device itself with small memory and small computing environments. We already did some research and started working on DDH (Development Dysplasia of HIP) which is a prevalent problem in infants. We have POC in place, where we will find hip parts using the AI Object detection algorithm and measure the hip displacement values using tne Graf method using image processing techniques on detected objects. Our differentiation factor is on running our optimized algorithms on the device itself so that there is no need for the internet. Even battery operated mobile devices could be used with our models in near real time.
