We are working on a platform for aggregating all shared accommodation spaces – PGs., Hostels, serviced and independent apartments. The platform would allow users to discover multiple options, sort on basis of budget, location, amenities and house rules, schedule a visit, make a booking and then finally rate/ review their accommodation. The platform also has a C2C side of it which allows for users to find like-minded roomies for themselves based on room preferences and individual personality traits. Traditionally millennials either look at informal groups on facebook or visit the individual website of companies such as Nestaway, Zolo and Oyo or just head out to the streets in search of PG/Hostel boards. We’d like to make their discovery hassle-free and help them in making a much more informed decision. The current source of revenue is from the P.G. owners who would pay 15 days’ rent as commission for closing any tenant deals. There is no commission charged from the tenants at present. In the future, revenue sources would include advertisements, consulting and supply of other services such as co-branding/ standardisation, license fee from inventory management solutions and provision of other value-added services
