Founded by Jigisha, a former professional associated with the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, The Modern Ritual is built on strong foundations of policy understanding, product development, and market access. The founder brings over five years of experience working closely with government bodies, MSMEs, and national branding initiatives before transitioning into entrepreneurship. The company is co-founded by Dr. Kriti Dubey, a formulation scientist with extensive academic and industrial experience. She has collaborated with premier institutes such as IIT Bombay and ICT Mumbai, has published over 20 international research papers, holds multiple patents, and has authored several book chapters. All product formulations developed under The Modern Ritual are science-led, data-supported, and designed in compliance with applicable regulatory standards. The startup’s initial product portfolio focuses on Detox and Recovery solutions, including functional wellness formats such as ready-to-consume shots and effervescent tablets.
