Two Plus Five (TPF technologies), TBI, NIT Campus Calicut has established under self employment programme associated with few IT professionals with 20 years of experience in handloom sector software domain. We have developed and supplied appropriate software to handloom weaving societies and is successfully functioning the systems since some weaving background. Our team decided to focus on the study of ‘Information technology in handloom sector’ and conducted a firsthand study. It is observed that Online marketing methodology and real time IT support is very essential for survival of handloom units especially co. operative sector in the presents of marketing challenge.
