Twosis Garden Pvt. Ltd is a food processing company in Northeast India. The startup was founded to help utilize the huge agricultural resources and forest produces of North-East India. Exotic Horticulture products like Sohiong Cherry, Wild Apple, Wild Gooseberry, Wild Olive, Passion Fruit, Plum, Pear, Peaches, Naga Chili, etc., and agriculture products like black rice (Chakhoa) and Wild black rice are found abundantly in the Northeast. But they are hardly commercialized due to lack of knowledge, reliable market access, infrastructure, and logistic weaknesses, etc. Hence, we aim to utilize the underutilize fruits available in the Northeast. This will help the farmers to realize the value of their resources and help towards the preservation and cultivation of these produces on a commercial scale. It would also empower them economically by providing them a valuable source of income by providing them an outlet to derive value out of abundant resources that are once left to waste. Also with the products being exotic and unexplored, we believe that with the right product development and marketing channel, there is a huge opportunity in this venture. We procured the fruits at the doorstep of the farmers and processed them into fruit bars, candy, beverages, etc., and marketed them all over India through both online and offline channels. Also, with most of the land in the Northeast hilly region being free from soil contamination, we hope to tap into the organic farming business which is growing very fast and is the need of the hour. We believe that organic farming is the future of agriculture. The focus of the company is to introduce new exotic fruits available in the Northeast, India to the world, and also help in bridging the gap between the buyer and farmer in the Northeast. Currently, our startup is based in Manipur. We procured all the required raw materials from Manipur and Nagaland. Our products are sold across the country.
