All Electric Reverse Trike for Tourism:We have designed and developed an efficient, affordable, eco-friendly and sustainable electric vehicle (EV) for personal transport and named it G11.Our product G11 is basically an all-Electric Reverse Trike Prototype with the aim to cater the Tourism Industry. It will be a completely road legal vehicle and will have capabilities similar to ICE vehicles but much more efficient. This vehicle will a hybrid in between a 2-wheeler and a 4-wheeler. It will be more stable as well as weather-proof from rain, sun, dust etc. as compared to a 2-wheeler. When compared to a 4-wheeler it is very efficient as it has lesser surface contact and also it has weight advantage. Its a perfect recreational vehicle and has the potential to be a perfect urban commute.Highlights:• Cost Effective. Very Efficient• Best for fleet operation• Swappable Batteries• Purpose built for Tourism.An Electric Rear Sub-Frame Unit to Retrofit the Passenger ICE Auto Rickshaws: Retrofitting is nowadays a buzz word, it means the addition of new technology or customization and features of older systems. Retrofitting is considered in most of the vehicles because in upcoming years all the transportation of vehicles will be electrically driven. Due to currently use of fossil fuels based on IC engines cannot be thrown out of the system. In a country like India, Auto rickshaw is mostly used as public transportation which can be retrofitted electrically. This retrofitted Auto rickshaw will have similar seating capacity and design as the conventional Auto rickshaw. Due to this concept of reducing, recycling, and reusing can be implemented in this sector and that will be a huge benefit to the environment. Retro fitment helps the growth of EV market in India as the older vehicles can get a new life as it gets recycled. Scenario Today: • 15 Lakhs ICE auto rickshaws are on Indian road. • 15 thousand added every month. • If not Retrofitted with electric unit then all these Autos will be Scrapped in a few years. • Pollution level is at all-time high. • High running and maintenance cost etc. There are a few Startups who are also into this retrofitting market but they work in the basic structure where they pull out the existing ICE unit and replace it with electric motor and differential. The other components remain the same. So the other age old problems with the Autos remain the same. With our concept we not only pull out the ICE unit but also the whole Rear of the vehicle that would include the suspension, axle and the wheels. We intend to replace the whole rear sub-assembly with a common rear unit which would have an Electric Drive unit, an updated suspension system and larger wheels in one Sub Frame unit. The changes would enable our system to work more efficiently by providing more comfort to the passengers and making the vehicle more stable. Our Subframe unit will be very Modular as it could be fitted to a wide variety of vehicles with little changes. This will widen up our scope and market prospects. The main consumers of our kits would be small business owner in the lower income group. They might not be capable of purchasing a new Electric 3-wheeler so Retro Fitting enables them to get all the EV benefits at lesser than half the cost of the new one. Market opportunity of $1.5 Billion in Auto Rickshaws alone. Our Modular Subframe will be fit for other vehicles as well like • 3-Wheel Loader or Auto Vans. • Share Taxi like TATA Magic and Mahindra Maxximo etc. • Small 4 Wheel pickups like TATA Ace, Maruti Carry etc. • Buggies, ATVs and Golf carts The advantages of this system would be as follows; • Quick and easy fitment, will be done under 2 hours. • Minimum labour required. • Perfect fit every time. • Will use 72 Volt system for better power delivery to tackle hilly terrains. Competitors uses 48 and 60 volt system. • Better strength and stiffness.
