In their own words

VAIMALYA UPAHARA PRIVATE LIMITED Agriculture sector in India is suffering from a variety of problems like the use of outdated equipment, improper infrastructure, farmers unable to access a wider range of markets with ease while making just limited profits on crop sales, and refraining them to pursue their livelihood for the fear of huge debt. Looking from past scenarios all over the globe, health is becoming a primary concern. But post covid-19, it has become a vital part of people’s life. Though medical advancement is taking place in full swing but the impact of that is also fatal. People tend to pay more on medical expenditures without negotiation but think twice before spending on nutritious food. It is the individual who has to accept certain responsibilities in order to attain good health, i.e.- responsibility about diet, personal hygiene, cultivation of healthful habits, carrying out specific disease prevention measures. With medical enhancements there comes side effects too. This can only be cured if the food intake is proper. But in today’s scenario getting pure food is also a challenge. Talking about facts, health challenges are more fatal in urban areas as compared to rural areas. As rural areas are consuming their own produces enriched with necessary minerals which by means of organic farming helps them to maintain immunity system but urban ppl is finding it difficult to get such produces which is free from chemical components i.e. chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Moreover, supply should meet the demand. Every food producer is bound to meet the supply chain demand. Unfortunately, they are not getting ample supplies from farmers to meet the demand. So, to fulfil the demands they are producing artificial products which may fill our stomach but is fatal to health as they don’t suffice the necessary health requirements like minerals, vitamins. To meet the challenges aforesaid above, food system should be reformed. Entire globe is facing forward towards modernization and growth. Technology is improving with rocket speed and modernization is good at some point but using it to meet the food demand supply by using artificial means is questionable. To improvise the food demand supply chain, we are approaching balanced agricultural farming. It implies we use organic pesticide and fertilizer to get a healthy production for all. Besides, to increase the production and processing we will use the technology in limited area like advanced horticulture technology, multi crop plantation, irrigation systems, etc. So, observing aforesaid scenario, the purview of VAIMALYA UPAHARA is not limited to food truck business and cloud kitchen but linking the farmers involved in organic farming, who are unable to access a wider range of markets with ease to sell their produces. Vaimalya tends to provide platform by providing storage facility and transport facility to small farmers who are not accessible and still facing to reach the existing storage facility made available from private or public entity so that the quantum of demand is met. Vaimalya is taking steps for organically grown fruits and vegetables through organic farming. For this, Vaimalya will take lands on lease and will cultivate it for organic farming and will involve local people to make it happen thus increasing employment. Vaimalya will use organic pesticides through in-house production and will use latest technologies to increase production. For damage control of produced products by the farmer or small-scale producers who are unable to compete in the food market Vaimalya tends to collect those food products, store and sell to direct beneficiaries so that the users get best quality food and the farmers get good price. Also, Vaimalya will try to involve as much as food producers to make it a bigger platform so that direct beneficiaries get regular supply of the demand and food producers get regular revenue. So as to make them feel valued in their work. Vaimalya’s mission is to approach farmers and small-scale producers around the country trying to connect all villages or semi urban areas for poverty reduction. Vaimalya will work toward converting polluted land to organically fertile land so that in future the direct beneficiaries will get healthy food products i.e. fruits, vegetables.
