Hello sir/mam, My name is Varada Mahesh Dixit. I am currently working on an e-commerce website that will provide a vegetable and fruits delivery service to customers. I want to solve the big problem of Indian farmers through this business. The problem is that the farmers can't earn as they expect. Because there is a chain of three persons in a traditional vegetable and fruit market. That is farmer sells the vegetables to a dealer. The dealer purchases vegetables at a very low cost from farmers. Then dealers sell vegetables to the person who sells vegetables in the market. In this chain, dealers earn more money than farmers. Another problem is the lack of a storage system. Farmers don't have a proper storage system. Farmers can't sell their all farm yield and a big quantity of vegetables goes to waste. We can solve these problems, through this startup. We can solve the first problem by purchasing vegetables directly from farmers and selling them on the website and in-store, this can give them more profit, and second by providing cold storage to vegetables. I want to sell vegetables on the website and I also want to create a vegetable mall where people can go and purchase vegetables. I think people need a vegetable mall also because they have a habit to go in the market for purchasing vegetables. I want to start this in every city in India as well as in some big towns. This can create a big difference in the whole vegetables and fruit business of India. Some farmers in India commit suicide because they can't pay their loans taken for farming. If they can earn more they can pay the loans. We need to change this traditional system of markets for farmers.
