1)Innovative Equipments :- We have taken initiative in developing innovative equipments. As per the guidelines of the National Bamboo Mission (http://www.nbm.nic.in/Documents/pdf/NBM_Guidelines_New.pdf) we are developing certain tools and equipments suitable for indian species for efficient processing. These bamboo processing equipments would be in use for bamboo straightening, cross cutting, splitting of bamboo, knot removing bamboo machine, bamboo stick polishing machine, moulding bamboo into the desired shapes, generating organic chemicals for protecting the bamboo from insects and pest for increasing their shelf-life, equipments for generating charcoal from bamboo plant parts such as culms, branches, bamboo dust by compressing into sticks of certain shapes and certain bamboo peeling equipments and knifes. 2) Employment Generation & Wealth Creation :- India being the second largest Country after China in terms of bamboo diversity. Efficient processing of bamboo and its effective utilization would result in generating numerous employment opportunities for youths and rejuvenating the rural economy and doubling of farmers income. This would cover the issues of employment generation and wealth creation as mentioned in the guidelines of National Bamboo Mission (NBM).
