VIANS APPAREL & FASHION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
In their own words
Fashion retail in India is highly concentrated in Tier 1 cities, where almost all major brands and premium stores are available. In some Tier 2 cities, branded fashion is present, but still not widely accessible or affordable for the average consumer. However, in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities, the situation is much worse — customers have very limited access to good-quality branded clothing. They are often left with only two choices: • Buy from unorganized local markets with poor quality, or • Travel long distances to Tier 1 malls where prices are too high for their budget. This creates a major gap in the market — premium quality and stylish fashion is out of reach for a large part of India’s population living in smaller cities. Our startup is solving this problem by building affordable, high-quality multi brand clothing stores in Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities, where this need is the most urgent and underserved. Even in Tier 2 cities where some brands exist, our focus is to provide a better mix of variety, affordability, and accessibility — which is currently missing in those areas.
