Viegem Innovations Private Limited company (in short VIPL) is incorporated with a motive to establish a quality benchmark in Project Execution with utilizing & enhancing the working skills of the employed workforce through DOJ training at site as well as Institutional training with integration of behavioral safety as culture. Initially we have planned to start our business with Electrical contracting service and expand horizontally in the field of Mechanical and Civil Contracting business and vertically from project execution to General household maintenance work later on. It is important to state that, there is no company in the Electrical contracting business with a dominant market share of the available market with adherence to a benchmark quality and Safety. Most of the small-scale electrical contractors in India target a narrow, regional market or sub-contracting opportunity thereby compromising the quality & safety, while large-scale electrical contractors often undertake maintenance and construction contracts throughout several states and again sub-contract to other small contractors leading the compromise of quality and safety issue again. Viegem Innovations Private Limited is set to provide services on its own without compromising Quality and Safety. Our workers are going to be selected from a pool of certified and highly experienced electrical technicians and electricians with different area of expertise. Simultaneously we will invite fresh NCT/NCVT (ITI) certified workers also to keep balance between creativity and expertise. Rest of the staff employed at site will be experienced Engineering Diploma, Diploma in Electrical Safety, Engineering Graduates and a dedicated planning Engineer. The responsibility of timely execution of work lies on planning Engineer. Workers safety and work quality will be our top priorities. Each of our sites will have one safety officer whose responsibility is – • To prepare Job Safety Analysis and create protocol of a particular job in consultation with respective supervisor in advance as per the weekly/Monthly plan prepared by the planning engineer. • To tag each T&P with necessary precautions for safe handling. • To monitor and report safety violations by any employee/worker to the company portal on daily basis with photograph and simultaneously instruct the respective violator about safe working. • Safety report of each employee will form the part of their appraisal and will be well informed about the same at the time of appointment. • Appraisal of safety officer will depend on the incident report from the site. Similarly, there will be specific responsibility for supervisors and Engineers. Skill Enhancement program:- Company is planning to open its own Construction Skill Enhancement Center (CSEC) for ITI certificate holder workers and to sponsor the ITI course for helpers. By the time if Company is unable to open its CSEC it will sponsor the selected workers for training at suitable Institute in India. Following are the eligibility criteria for selection of workers/helpers:- • The worker/helper must have completed one year of association with the company. • The worker/helper must have been nominated by his/her supervisor and a supervisor can nominate only two workers/helpers after three month interval. • There must not be any issue of safety violation by nominated worker/helper after first six months of his/her joining the company. Company will sponsor the Advance Skill Enhancement training for selected Supervisors twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for selection will be same as above except that the nomination will be made by concerned Engineer with recommendation of suitable course. After completion of training these Workers, Helpers, Supervisors and Engineers will be given a new and suitable responsibility. They have a combined experience that can help them build Viegem Innovations Private Limited a highly skilled business firm which would be full of innovative ideas and potential to become the leader of quality and Safety culture in Indian Construction Industry.
