Smartphone based Eye Imaging Devices- We are currently involved in developing compact portable devices that would help image the eye with high precision to meet the standards of comprehensive eye care service. OcuDA (Ocular Digital Adaptor), a smartphone-based imaging tool to screen the front portion of the eye with value added feature of Slit based imaging. OcuDA received the BIRAC grant to develop working models and perform clinical testing. OcuDA received the Best Innovation award – DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program (IIGP) – 2013 Manipal E- AMSLER©, is a software application used as screening tool for functional visual assessment of patients with sight-threatening eye diseases.
