This project focuses on establishing a state-of-the-art facility for the production of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells. Our target market encompasses both the mobility and stationary storage industries, catering to the growing demand for clean and efficient energy solutions. A key differentiator of this project is the in-house development of LFP cell technology. This technology is developed in collaboration with a leading Indian research institute & is extensively tested, prioritizing safety, extended cycle life, and exceptional thermal stability – all crucial aspects for electric vehicles and grid storage applications. Furthermore, our project incorporates Battery Management Systems (BMS) directly into the manufactured cells for clients requiring a complete battery solution. This integration ensures optimal performance, safety, and longevity by monitoring cell parameters like voltage, current, and temperature. By combining cutting-edge LFP cell technology with integrated BMS, this project aims to deliver high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for the mobility and stationary storage sectors. This will contribute significantly to the development of a robust and sustainable energy ecosystem. The battery market in India is expected to be worth over $15 billion by 2029, which is more than double from $7.2 Billion today. This corresponds to a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 16.80%. This growth is driven by the increasing demand for EVs & energy storage solutions. VNP will be making batteries in India under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” push to create these battery cells in India. Our approach also resonates with the "China Plus One" strategy of multinational corporations seeking to diversify their supply chains and reduce over-reliance on a single source country. We would like to create alternative to China for the world and make India a leading battery cell manufacturer.
