Wakefit is a research and innovation driven sleep solutions company established in March 2016. It was founded by Ankit Garg and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, with a vision to democratize sleep in India. With an ever expanding portfolio that includes mattresses, pillows, bed frames, mattress protector, comforters, bedsheets, neck pillows and back cushions, Wakefit manufactures its products in-house at a manufacturing plant in Bangalore and sells across the country through its own online portal and through other online marketplaces. Wakefit prides itself on its customer experience, with over 5 Lakh customers serviced over four years and 15,000+ positive reviews online. The company has received Series A funding from marquee investor, Sequoia Capital and has recorded 3x revenue growth year-on-year since 2016. It has a product oriented approach that invests heavily on research and innovation to create a product that is ahead of the industry curve. It ships products to its customers directly from the factory, thus ensuring significant cost reduction which gets passed on to the customer. The USP of the brand lies in the fact that their products are made after extensive customer interviews and extensive research. The founders of the company visited about a 100 homes and took inputs from the customers which were then incorporated into the product line.
