Wayzyy is an Aadhaar-verified short-term rental marketplace built for the Indian market, launching in Goa with Rajasthan as the Phase 2 market. The problem. India's short-term rental market runs on infrastructure built for a different market — global platforms extract 15-18%+ in blended host-side commissions, offer no meaningful identity verification for either party, and resolve disputes through opaque, non-evidence-based processes. Our founder discovered and responsibly disclosed (via HackerOne) a business-logic vulnerability in a major global platform, where hosts and guests routinely bypassed contact-sharing restrictions using encoded messages. The platform closed it as informative, since it wasn't a conventional security bug — but it exposed a structural problem: the trust layer itself was easy to bypass. Wayzyy was built to solve that structurally. The innovation. Wayzyy inverts the standard commission model: hosts pay zero commission and keep 100% of booking payouts, funded instead through prepaid credit packs. Guests pay a flat 7% fee, disclosed upfront. Both hosts and guests undergo mandatory Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification before a booking is confirmed. Reviews below 3 stars are evidence-verified before publication, preventing review-based blackmail of hosts. Disputes are resolved through a 3-layer evidence framework within a 7-day window by an in-house team. An AI-based system (regex + LLM hybrid) detects contact-evasion attempts in messaging. Scalability and traction. This model is structurally suited to India's large base of independent hosts underserved by commission-heavy platforms. The company is incorporated, with 15+ Goa hosts across 130+ properties in the onboarding pipeline, and creates scalable employment in engineering, trust and safety, and host operations as it expands across states.
