A lot of students graduating from various streams in our country are being termed by companies as "Not Industry Ready". This is because a lot of these students don't really learn things conceptually but they learn things for passing exams. At the same time, there might be people who have the skills for a particular job but aren't given the opportunity because of their marks, grades or field of study. Here comes Widhya. At Widhya, we focus on helping learners of any age "Learn By Doing" thereby removing the concept of rote learning or by hearting. We also ensure that nobody is deprived of opportunities in the industry because of marks, grades or field of study. How we do this is by focusing on quality of work. This is done through something called micro tasks. Micro tasks are relatively small sized real time industrial projects that Widhya outsources from various companies. A set of microtasks are then clubbed to together to form a Mission. On completion of a Mission, these learners are referred to companies for internships and job opportunities. Since the learners are exposed to real time tasks, companies would understand how good these people would be for their organisation. Also, this gives those who want to learn something new, a chance to get exposure from the very first minute and makes sure that they aren't spoonfed. We focus on various streams like tech, civil engineering, content writing, marketing, business development and so on. We at Widhya, are looking at creating a pipeline for learners who are interested to learn. We don't just stop at internships but we look at facilitating accomodation and food for these interns if they're going to a new city too. For more details please visit our pre launch website.
