Windmill Health has developed NeoBreathe, the world's first foot operated newborn resuscitation system. It is much easier to use than prevailing devices. It will help frontline health workers across the world to save the lives of newborn babies across the world. Currently about 800,000 babies die globally every year due to birth asphyxia - nearly all of which are preventable deaths. The device was conferred a National Technology Award by Honble President of India - for commercialization of indigenous technology. It also received the first prize in innovation marketplace at National Festival of Innovations at the Rashtrapati Bhavan 2017.
