We started 3 years ago as training providers on embedded systems and robotics under the name CVT in South Bengal (Asansol-Durgapur). • 2 years ago, we realized that our technical know-how can be better traded in the form of commercial products. Hence, we simultaneously started research on smart devices. • We spent the first 6 months making a working-prototype of a simple and budget friendly Roommate which became our entry pass to the Indian homes. This will help us increase our reach as switchboards are inevitable part of any household. We are working on similar products for water pumps, geysers, security locks, HVAC and other IR modules. • There was aesthetic issue in the product due to which we made a version 2.0 for the same. We are currently selling Roommate 2.0 in Kolkata, South Bengal and Bihar market. Soon, we are planning to launch it in Delhi. • We are also offering smart home solutions – homes, offices, hospitals, hotels, etc. which do not know how to go about smartifying their place, would be offered specialized solutions tailor made for them. We have completed a few projects in standalone houses and flats. Currently, we are in talks with builders to get into the market with the same. • We are also working towards technological breakthrough devices like Hapti-speech, one that can convert haptic gestures to voice. This, although being a very innovative product, is in the testing phase and we plan a nation-wide launch for this product just after Roommate creates the initial credibility. • Currently, we are incubated at Incubation Center in IIT Patna and pursuing our research and operations from there only.
