Background To meet India’s sustainability goals for 2030, the country needs a rethinking of transport solutions that cater to a larger audience beyond just the wealthy. We started the company to help move us a step closer to that mission with home-grown technological innovations. Mission To spearhead India’s transition towards sustainable, green mobility solutions that provide equitable, accessible transport for everyday Indians. Vision To be a respected player in the mobility sector and be known for our customer-centric focus on quality manufacturing Executive Team The company is founded by two young entrepreneurs with extensive technological expertise in software and hardware fields. Vijaya Sai Bhavyanth: With a bachelor's degree from Vellore Institute of Technology and a master's from Carnegie Mellon University, Bhavyanth has a strong technical background in computer science and software engineering. He’s led and worked with larger teams in organizations like Cisco, he is adept at managing teams towards a motivating goal for collective results. Bhavyanth handles the operations and business development of the company. Chaitanya Deep: Having studied Mechanical Engineering, Deep has previously worked at a multi-national Robotics startup. He brings diverse hands-on experience in various fields from software development to electronics and prototyping. He is in charge of product development, prototyping, and technology at the company. Products and services Our core product is a pedal-assisted bicycle for everyday commute. Our focus for the vehicle is three primary characteristics of the bicycle Safety: We made conscious choices to restrict the speed of the vehicle by not including a throttle. We also chose the gear ratio to limit the speed the user can cycle at. Comfort: The bicycle is designed with an upright riding posture, mid-frame, and tilted handlebars to ensure the rider can go for hours with minimal health and safety concerns. Although this is slightly inefficient, we compensate for this loss of efficiency with our intelligent optimisation of motor power Reliability: We’ve chosen high-quality alloy components and are currently testing the prototype extensively to ensure the bicycle can last for at least 5 years with minimal maintenance. A crucial part of this is the innovation in belt drivetrains which is a first in India.
