Zenomix BioLab Pvt. Ltd., Greater Noida is incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) as a private limited company by shares. Zenomix BioLab Pvt. Ltd. (ZBPL) is established with the vision of food security and safety specially in the scope of human food and health. This company was founded by Dr Archana Kumari, PhD (Biotechnology). During her PhD work in Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, she experienced and identified many issues with the crops and produce, like plant viruses etc which is adversely affecting the food security of the country. One of the major concerns of food safety is that adulteration is also badly affecting the public health. To address these issues there are many researches but most of the science is not reaching to the solution. Hence by keeping these things Dr Archana founded this company with the moto line “Bridging Science and Solutions”. To sensitise our young researchers, we started providing training, and they were also getting involved in different such projects during their dissertations and internships. As per our boot-strapped company’s mission, we started researching and getting involved into MoU with the ZTM-IARI to transfer the technology for the plant virus detection and solutions. ZBPL is in the process of commercialising the technology. ZBPL has created quick testing kits to identify food adulteration in products like ghee, honey, edible oil, pulses, paneer, spices, and more by adhering to the aforementioned vision. These kits are offered for sale on our website and on e-commerce platforms, and used by individuals and companies to build trust among their customers. To ensure food security and safety, ZBPL also conducts thorough laboratory testing on food items, water, and soil. ZBPL has developed the pesticide detection Biosensor in the form of a kit. These kits will be helpful to detect the chemical residue of the any type of pesticide present in the fruits, vegetables and food grains.
