Bundelkhand University, Jhansi a seat of higher learning, came into existence on August 26,1975, vide Government of Uttar Pradesh Notification No. 10/15-60/74 under the provision of the U.P. Universities Act. However, though belonging to the younger generation of the Indian Universities, the Bundelkhand University has fast transformed into a University of excellence offering opportunities to the aspiring youths to pursue higher education. The University has established Bundelkhand Active Start-Up Incubation Council (BASIC), for nurturing innovation by encouraging, supporting & promoting technology-based startups and providing an ecosystem for their growth by Incubating in the Center. This Council is dynamically involved in evolving the paradigm of entrepreneurial approach and environment of ideating, creating and commercializing the ventures at the University or any other startups aligned to the core theme of Council. The ‘BASIC’ has been registered on April 6, 2022, under section 8 of Company’s Act (copy attached).
