Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi

Incubator Delhi Government funded

In their own words

IIT Delhi created the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT) as a special purpose vehicle to facilitate, inter alia, research translation, technology development, technology transfer & commercialization, industry engagement, project management, startup incubation & mentoring, etc. One of the country's pioneering academic institution-based technology transfer offices and startup incubators, FITT has strong Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, Industry Consultancy and startup incubator management experience. While handholding the startups for business activities and fundraising, FITT is also accelerating their product development efforts of startups by providing them with adequate facilities and technical mentorship. There is an integrated support system for prototyping and MVP development at IIT Delhi by bringing together in-house facilities at BioNEST, NIDHI CoE, & IIT Delhi Central lab facilities. These facilities collectively could cater to the needs of most startups in their product development stages. Further networking and formal partnerships with industries and other relevant organizations are effected to provide a platform for a broader range of facilities and services. These, along with the in-house facilities at IIT Delhi, will help startups navigate TRL 3-7 stages and make them more investment-ready.
