JCB Technology Business Incubator

Incubator Faridabad, Haryana Government funded

In their own words

J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has taken a significant step by establishing the J. C. Bose Technology Business Incubator (JCB-TBI). This initiative was made possible through the generous support of The Department of Information Technology Electronics & Communication, Haryana (DITECH), and one of our esteemed alumni, Mr. Mohit Vohra, Founder and Managing Director of MV Electrosystems Pvt Ltd. At our university, we have created a thriving ecosystem dedicated to fostering innovation. Central to this ecosystem is JCB-TBI, which operates in conjunction with various other initiatives, including an IoT Lab, a Coworking Space, and a 3D printing setup for prototyping and testing. These resources facilitate knowledge creation and transfer.JCB-TBI stands as a pillar of support for our entrepreneurial community, offering an extensive range of technical, strategic management, and business mentoring services. Our expert faculty and industry specialists are committed to mentoring budding entrepreneurs. In our endeavor to promote entrepreneurship, we regularly organize seminars, startup events, motivational and technical lectures, workshops, and symposiums. These events cover a wide spectrum of topics, from ideation and startup principles to intellectual property rights (IPR) and innovative practices at the industry-academia interface. We understand the financial challenges early-stage startups often face. To address this, JCB-TBI is committed to supporting our entrepreneurial talents in their fundraising efforts through various activities and initiatives. The establishment of our Incubation Center has been made possible through a grant of 30 lakhs from the Higher and Technical Education Department, Haryana. Furthermore, we've secured an additional 27 lakhs from MV Mobility, a company founded by our alumnus, Mr. Mohit Vohra. With these funds, we have set up an IoT Lab, which serves as a pre-incubation facility. To ensure our students have a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship and business dynamics, we've introduced a Start-up Entrepreneurship Workshop Program. This program covers various aspects, including market research, business planning, and investor pitching. This is to equip our students with the tools they need to successfully implement their startup ideas. Our commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship is underscored by the fact that we have already organized over 50 programs, competitions, and workshops in these domains. Additionally, we've conducted half a dozen programs and workshops exclusively focused on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). These initiatives collectively form a vital part of our university's mission to nurture and empower the entrepreneurial spirit among our students and participants.
