Introduction: Kalpataru Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) on Industry 4.0 is the 21st CoE of STPI at Rashtriya ISPAT Nigam Limited – Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) at Visakhapatnam with the support of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Govt. of India, in collaboration with RINL-VSP, Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS), Industry Associations, and Academia. Objective and Focus Area:Kalpataru CoE's objective is to promote and interface Industry 4.0 startup solutions to address the challenges or problem statements faced by PSUs, Industries, and MSMEs. The CoE is focused on nurturing Industry 4.0 solutions for RINL-VSP, PSU’s and other Industries present in & around Visakhapatnam. The CoE’s objective is to nurture around 175 innovative startups with a total budgetary outlay of Rs. 20.32 crore with MeitY’s contribution of Rs. 8.32 Crore, STPI Contribution of Rs. 1.00 Crore, RINL’s contribution of Rs. 9.00 Crores and contribution of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh is of Rs. 2.00 Crores for five years.
