Punjab Biotechnology Incubator (PBTI), the 1st State owned incubator in Punjab, was jointly established by Department of Biotechnology (DBT) GoI and Department of Science, Technology and Environment, GoP, to foster innovation in the state in Biotechnology sector. The State-of- the-Art facility of PBTI in Knowledge City Mohali is spread over an area of 01 acre with 60,000 sft built-up Office and Laboratory space. PBTI is providing Plug & Play facility, Incubation Suites, Built-up Laboratory space, Co-working space, Common Instrumentation Facility (CIF), Mentorship, Networking, Contractual Research / Advisory Services and Capacity Building to Start-ups in the areas of Food, Water, Agriculture, Environment and Health.
