What stands out
Tripura is a clear example of why a district count on this site counts labels, not places. Agartala holds 37.3% of the state and West Tripura 34.1%, and the first sits inside the second: one urban area recorded two ways, together 71.4% of the register. Recognition runs below the national rate at 41.5% against 51.2%, while the funding-signal rate runs above it at 14.2% against 10.5%. No incubator in the state holds a Seed Fund approval.
Agartala holds 197 of the state's 528, 37.3%, and West Tripura is second with 180. Education is the largest category with 51 companies. The government's own facet for Tripura counts 553 against our 528; the report prints both and explains the gap rather than hiding it. No Startup India Seed Fund allocation is recorded for Tripura, and the report says so rather than leaving the chapter out.
