Abeja is a Agri tech Farmer to Consumer company. Every human being has a natural instinct to grow food of their own, this is in the gene of homo sapiens since time immemorial. In one hand we found that every urban Indian has a desire of owning a patch of agriculture land and at least grow some crop which he can consume later, in the other hand we have farmers who produce farm items and succumb to the procurement price policy of intermediary. Again on one side the total production of kharif rice during 2020-21 is estimated at 102.36 million tonnes. It is higher by 6.70 million tonnes than the previous five years' average production of 95.66 million tonnes, and in the other hand the farmers are not able to sell the rice in the market. Abeja intends to solve this problem by connecting farmers to consumers through a mobile app based technology platform. Through our technology platform an urban dweller can reach out to a farmer on our platform and request him to produce his type of rice for the entire year, by this he will not only have consistency of rice for the entire year but also will have the experience of cultivating his own rice through our e-farm platform. The farmer will get a premium price for his produce and will get a lifetime supporter since the app will personalise the relationship between the farmer and the affluent urban consumer. Our business model will be a subscription fees that we will charge to the consumer. We have successfully piloted the model offline and will be able to exibit traction ones we launch the technology platform.
