AGILENT BIOPLUS LLP (Ahmedabad, India) AGILENT BIOPLUS LLP situated in the city of Ahmedabad, came into existence in the year 2017. AN OVERVIEW: AGILENT BIOPLUS LLP (ABL) founded by a team of Technocrats with combined experience with more than 50 man years in the field of Biotechnology. ABL is co-promoted by Mr. Darshan Mehta, who has experience in Technology, Projects, Domestic and International markets, Finance and Business Development for 26 years. Mr. Harish Tekchandani is having a rich experience of more than 27 years in the files of R & D, process innovation and manufacturing in the field. ABL – is in the development of new technology and production of Calcium Gluconate/Sodium Gluconate and Enzymes i.e. all Biotechnology products. Our partnership has resulted in creating synergies on the Operational, Marketing, Business and Financial front. It has put company on an aggressive growth path. PRODUCT PROFILE CALCIUM GLUCONATE: Calcium is an Essential element of tissues and blood. Inadequate Calcium leads to rickets and imperfect calcification of bones and teeth. Therefore, Calcium preparations are used to replenish required Calcium. There are various Calcium salts available but Calcium Gluconate has many advantages such as low toxicity, better palatability, better texture, higher stability, low astringency, less caustic to the gastro-intestinal tract and better absorption. The gluconate anion has a known pharmacological action it is largely excreted unchanged. In veterinary it is used for the treatment of hypocalcemia in cases of milk fever and grass tetany. Calcium gluconate is ideal for such treatment as it has no irritating effect on the body tissue. The demand of Calcium Gluconate is growing because of improved health and veterinary practices, We supply to companies engaged in manufacturing veterinary medicines, injectable and pharmaceutical products/formulations i.e. Tablets, Capsule, Syrups, Ointment etc. Now a days Calcium Gluconate is also popular in Nutraceutical segment. Enzymes: Enzymes are complex proteins, synthesized by living cells, they act as catalysts inducing chemical changes. In industrial processes, enzymes accelerate practical reactions under mild conditions. At ABL, bacterial alpha amylases are also produced which are an ideal desizing enzyme (alpha amylase) for textile industry, as it efficiently removes starch size from gray fabrics. The efficient removal of starch size from gray fabrics is essential for uniform finishing. Selective breakdown of starch sizes, without any adverse effect on the fabric, can be achieved by the use of heat stable bacterial alpha amylases. The advantages of enzymes of this class are high heat stability, excellent storage stability, no adverse effect on fabric and easy-safe handling. A range of Liquid Enzymes also been manufactured for various end applications i.e. Textile Desizing, Garment finishing, Biopolishing etc. Formulations: We manufacture Specialty thickening additive for Katha Industry. Which is our R & D product and been highly appreciated by end user. It’s a processing aid in their manufacturing which help in reducing processing time by 3-4 days for Katha (Catechu) manufacturer as well as reducing their cost substantially. We have some formulations which are being used by Textile industries for printing paste ticking. Our product brings stability and colour consistency in their paste.
