Aksha Integrated Design Pvt Ltd is an initiative to provide cutting-edge indigenous design solutions for India’s growing manufacturing and R&D market in the Defence & Aerospace and Homeland Security sectors. Despite the concerted effort to foster "Make in India," particularly in the Defence and Aerospace sector, aimed at achieving the 5 trillion economy goal, our reliance on imports for Military Grade product designs remains significant. In the present landscape of indigenous defence manufacturing, the Indigenous Content (IC) in design is notably low, with the majority of designs still being imported from developed countries. To truly become self-reliant, Atma Nirbahar Bharat we at Aksha are addressing this pain point. Our approach is to aggregate local experience, knowledge, domain expertise, user problem statements and indigenous technology, integrating these into functional prototypes and combat ready, mature physical and software products which are not just “Made in India” but also “Designed in India,” thereby reducing our foreign dependence. Our team of resource experts possesses extensive field experience in diverse military specializations and business domains. This depth of knowledge enables us to find the exact fit and tailor make solutions, setting us apart as a holistic team with integrated knowledge. Our founding director not only lends design support to two winning iDEX (Sprint) product development challenges but has also successfully supported induction of niche technologies into the Army and Navy along with other Indian MSME companies. Having deep insights in critical infrastructure and physical protection, stemming from past Naval Special Operations experience as a Marine Commando Officer, and the directors having previously undertaken variety of studies including preparation of a Security DPR along with the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) for a national level critical infrastructure project, brings invaluable expertise to the table.
