1. Nature of Business Aksha Skill Empower Pvt Ltd is a social impact startup incubated from the grassroots work of Aksha Foundation NGO. We operate in the Skill Development & Livelihood Enablement sector with a mission to make rural and semi-urban women & youth economically self-reliant through our innovative scalable model, as outlined hereunder separatly. Our core offering is “Aksha Skill-to-Earn”, an integrated model that combines skill training + market linkage + micro-entrepreneurship support under one platform. Unlike traditional skilling NGOs that stop at certification, we ensure end-to-end livelihood generation through our proprietary 3-stage model: Train → Produce → Market. Current focus areas: Handicrafts, Food Processing, Digital Literacy, and Green Skills for women SHGs across Delhi-NCR, Haryana & Rajasthan. 2. Innovation: Development & Improvement of Products/Processes/Services A. Product/Service Innovation 1. Hybrid Phygital Training Model: We developed a low-bandwidth mobile-first LMS + community-based practical training model. Rural women with only basic smartphones can learn through vernacular video modules + attend weekly “Skill Saathi” cluster sessions. This solves the last-mile delivery gap of govt skilling schemes. 2. Micro-Factory Concept: Instead of training and leaving beneficiaries, we convert each SHG into a “Aksha Micro-Production Unit” with standardized SOPs, QR-based quality tracking, and centralized raw material sourcing. This upgrades home-based work into formal, quality-controlled production. B. Process Innovation 1. Demand-Backed Skilling: Traditional skilling is supply-driven. We reversed it – we first secure B2B/B2C orders from corporates, e-commerce, and export buyers, then backward-integrate and train SHGs exactly for those products.
