ALTERNO GREEN ENERGY PRIVATE LIMITED
Viman Nagar, Maharashtra
In their own words
As the waste tyre amount is generated higher and higher, the waste tyre pollution is also becoming heavier and heavier. So, it's very urgent and important for the world to find a way how to dispose the waste tyres, thus to prevent or reduce the pollution caused by waste tyres. What to do with old discarded tyres is a growing problem, primarily because tyres are extremely difficult to recycle. When stacked in fields they hold water and become breeding grounds for mosquitos. As more and more cars hit the road, the number of potential waste tyres increase exponentially. Having made some researches about the waste tyre recycling, we understand that none of the above methods is the good solution, as the processing ways cause big waste of the raw material, also generate heavy pollution to the environment. In view of this current situation, Alterno Green Energy (P) Ltd. (AEGPL), has adopted the pyrolysis process as a new and clean solution to recycle the waste tyres into something useful in the form of by-product – Pyro-Oil used as furnace oil or light diesel oil for industrial heating activities. Through tyre pyrolysis process, AEGPL will recycle waste tyres to renewable energy, also without generating secondary pollution to the environment. Tyre pyrolysis oil, a valuable energy resource, accounts for almost 50% of the composition of waste tyres. AEGPL will conduct Pyrolysis of tyres deriving energy rich products such as syngas, liquid pyrolysis fuel oil using the Safe Continuous Tyre Pyrolysis technology. It further aims at producing and trading Pyro-Oil and supplying to the prospective industries replacing the fossil fuel as it is currently driving the global pyrolysis oil market to maintain the sustainability of fossil fuels. Instead of letting these materials go to waste, putting a tyre through the pyrolysis process can help reclaim high percentages of pyrolysis oil and gas, as well as char or carbon black that these tyres contain. The pyrolysis oil created can be used as marine fuel oil.
