IntroductionAMB Farms and Foods International is a newly started Agro based Manufacturing Industry. It is situated in Dindigul, a fast-growing Industrial City in Tamil Nadu. The company engaged in growing, manufacturing of Pickled Cucumbers (Gherkins), Chilli, and Mixed vegetables in Drums and in Pails and exporting to US, Russia, Middle East and European Countries.AMB Farms and Foods International was set up by Mr Mohamed Yusuf Ansari, who has nearly 25 years experience in this Industry from growing to exporting final products. Similarly, the Farming and production work will be done with highly skilled and qualified peoples.Initially the company has to planning to produce and Manufacture 30 MT / Day and the same will be export. The company have given special emphasis on meeting hygiene & sanitation requirement t to meet all our customers expectations in the factory from the processing fresh cucumber to loading. Currently we are in process of training our staff on International Food Safety Standards ( HACCP ), Which we are planning to achieve before starting commercial operation on January 24.Agri OperationFresh Gherkins is procured by company managed Agri operation team from thousands of small and marginal farmers in different region from Tamil Nadu. The Agri Team is managed by a Senior qualified and experienced Manager supported by Field Officers. The company has given seeds, fertilizer, Pesticides and advance to farmers to grow gherkins and buy from them, like Contract Farming method. Products Gherkins are properly graded, sorted, soaked and washed before being put into the packing Medium in Barrels made food grade HDPE equipped with a mesh that immerse the gherkins in the cover liquid which fills the barrels entirely. The 3 categories according to the media of Packaging are in Salt Brine, In Natural Vinegar, and In Acetic Acid. The specification and recipes may be modified according to the specific requirement of the targeted buyer.QualityQuality controls are strictly exercised at all stages of farming and processing of the products according to the quality standards prescribed by the purchasers/Importers. Besides, the standards enforced by American and European laws have to complied with. The unit have implemented the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point ( HACCP) system in which the product quality can be traced to all critical control points. The specifications regarding the grades of gherkin fruits, Ingredients hat go into the pickle, quality and category of the packing medium, size and material of the container, etc. are all decided by the importers, who constantly analyse the preferences of the end consumers. Quality of the products is controlled by well qualified and Experienced staffs.Vision Steady growth of export business of top-quality processed food items, strictly adhering to the international norms and laws and clearly exceeding the standards and taste required by the discerning end consumers world wide, thus earning our Motherland global acclamation and appreciation together with earning precious foreign exchange, is our vision.
