Indian rural economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. In our proposed business model we want to develop a place, where outing/Excursion/Picnic of urban mass can be clubbed with Market of Organic agro/dairy products. The concept will be known as “Agri-Cultural Rendezvous”. This place will be having diverse activities such as Audio-visual Cultural tour of the City/District, opportunity to relax and rejuvenate through Yoga and Music and access to organic agro and dairy products. These facilities will not only attract local urban masses but also international tourists in few centers such as Varanasi. On the other hand, rural people and farmers will come to sell their organic products. Agri/farm clinic will be also a important part of the center to solve technical/informational problems of the farm/dairy community. Different training program and workshops will be organized related to organic farming, soil health, and women empowerment. The center will also venture into extraction of herbal products and its validation to add value to Ayurveda services provided by the center. First such center is already in validation stage at Ramnagar, Varanasi and other centers being developed are at Chiraigaon Block and Vindhyan Region of Varanasi and Mirjapur respectively.
