LITTORAL DESIGNS PRIVATE LIMITED(Anki) as a design entity focuses on uplifting and promoting Odisha handloom and handicraft with design innovations. Odisha has unique and exquisite handloom & handicraft clusters, many of which are an embodiment of India’s intellectual and aesthetic property, hence It is our humble attempt to represent best of handmade luxury products taking present and upcoming fashion trend into consideration. It is our constant endeavour in design innovations to develop products adapting traditional skill sets that better suits both traditional and modern market. It is our initiative to maximize the use of handmade products along with making it a mainstream product line in urban retail market. Our design innovations focuses on: 1. Breaking the monotony of traditional designs and replacing it with present day market need being within the craft vocabulary. 2. Following fashion & color trend to understand contemporary color pallete, motifs, & material which are popular according to fashion enthusiasts achieving market demand. 3. Interlinking various handloom & handicraft clusters across odisha to fuse kind of craft technique and innovations together, bringing weavers and artisans under one roof. 4. Increasing product possibilities more than what artisans and weavers had inherited from their forefathers. 5.Making artisans and weavers aware of fashion trend and market value that would help them to develop cost effective & commercial products, which may increase the possibility of mass acceptance. 6. Acceptance of handmade products among youths plays a vital role in craft sustainability ensuring sustainable livelihood to the artisans and weavers as well. 7. Widespread of lesser known handicrafts of odisha with adequate research and development bringing it and fashion industry parallel to each other . We as a design entity committed to guide design aesthetics among weavers creating our own unique identity in market.
