The alarming rates of rising pollution in the National Capital Territory of Delhi has become a matter of concern for the health and well being of the general populace of the region. This has put both the State and Central Government to find a solution for the same. The development of Delhi Metro has greatly catered to the reduction of carbon emissions and has also helped with the reduction of traffic congestion with vehicular pollution being a constant source of air pollution in the NCT of Delhi and contributing upto 30% of particulate pollution a need for rapid adoption of zero emissions of electric vehicles is inevitable. It is also evident that however the Delhi metro has increased its network across the city but still a suitable means for last mile connect to the destination which has zero carbon emissions has not found its solutions. In 2013, Government of india launched a National Electric Mobility Plan 2020. Under the mission plan the scheme for faster adoption & manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles in India ( FAME INDIA ) was launched in March 2015 for two years as Phase - I, which has subsequently been extended upto March 2019. Also the Delhi EV Policy 2018 aims to bring about a material improvement in Delhi Air quality by bringing down emissions from transport sector. The policy will seek to drive rapid adoption of Electric Vehicles in a manner where they contribute 25% of all new vehicle registrations on 2023 which is currently at 0.1% of the total new registrations. Also the Compounded Annual Growth Rate of Electric Vehicles is predicted at 38.10% by E&Y. As above stated interest, need and incentivisation of the adoption of electric vehicles by the state and central governments alike an industry successfully adopting Electric Vehicles and developing its infrastructure will be greatly helped. The general concern of the population of the NCT of Delhi regarding the degrading air quality and unavailability of suitables option for commute in their last mile connectivity had motivated us to move into this direction. Our business model provides mobility as a service which is common, connected, convenient, congestion free, charged, clean and cutting edge. Our inventory will strictly inhabit 2 wheeler electric bikes with advanced rechargeable lithium ion batteries which are economical and 55% cheaper than other modes of transportation available to general populace for their last mile connectivity. Our business drives its inventory management using the concept of Intelligent Transport Systems whereby the vehicles are integrated with devices that enables GPS location and real time status of the Bike through sensors. Our systems can interface with the App hence enabling users to book the bike on the go. All the data retrieved from the bike like location, Fuel capacity, route, mode of transaction and travel time which is uploaded to our cloud infrastructure can be further used by us to monitor, control and draw insights to further tune our services enabling us to make us a Customer First service company. Such systems ensures the safety of our asset and also the consumer. In an advent of any mishappening such as an accident, theft or SOS situation we can start initiate measures for the safety of the asset and the customer from our dashboard. It is noteworthy to point that electric bikes are 90% cheaper on run than their ICE counterparts and have zero carbon emissions along with them being noise free. From the study conducted by UNEP DTU Partnership Report, Dec 2017 it was was found 70% of the total individuals (<30 years) preferred to own their bike wherein wherein 79% used the same for commuting to work. We can deduce from the above facts that a majority have to resort to use their own vehicles because of unavailability of other options to their last mile commute.
