Access to safe drinking water is a critical global challenge, with billions still depending on unsafe or untreated sources. This issue is worsened by rising plastic pollution from excessive bottled water use. Aura Ladders, a health-tech innovation startup, is on a mission to deliver a portable, sustainable, and scientifically backed solution for water purification using advanced microbicidal technology. We have developed a compact, pen-sized device that uses a patented combination of silver ionization and ultraviolet (UV) light to eliminate harmful microorganisms. Powered by a custom electric circuit and rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the device releases 999-purity silver ions with antimicrobial properties, proven effective against pathogens like E. coli, V. cholerae, and S. typhi. Simultaneously, a UV LED enhances the purifi cation process. A built-in blue LED timer indicates completion and ensures user ease and safety. Unlike bulky filters or expensive RO systems, our product is reusable, chemical-free, maintenance-free, and highly portable. It serves diverse use cases—from travellers and rural communities to NGOs and emergency responders. Lab-tested by NABL-accredited labs and aligned with WHO standards, the device can reduce microbial counts from over 1,000 cfu/ml to nearly zero. Aura Ladders stands out through innovation, affordability, and scalability. With B2B pricing around ₹2,200 and production costs at ~₹1,800, it offers strong margins while remaining accessible. With patents fi led and growing corporate interest, we are now seeking strategic funding to scale globally and make safe drinking water universally available.
