There are many health cases, where persons needs to be on liquid diet, soft diet for several days to month.i.e cancer patient undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, patients who undergone surgery and other illnesses. India is booming with cancer patient cases , diabetes obesity, accident ,surgical and chronic illness cases. In all such cases it is necessary to provide liquid feeding to patient. In cases of cancer, during radiation and chemotherapy and post radiation and chemotherapy patient required to be on liquid serving for weeks due to ulcers, mouth sores and other issues. Diabetic, thyroid, bloating cases patient is restricted from eating many food items and needs specific diet prepared according to their health condition. Patient who is admitted in few hospitals does not have right information and guidance of clinical diet and post-surgery/hospital diet. Even in case of big multispecialty hospital, when patient get discharged there is no such guidance provided to stop disease from reoccurring. This makes in hospital diet care and post hospital recovery care a concern issue in medical and wellness field. We conducted few more informal survey to understand difficulty faced by patient and it’s family, and aimed to bring dietician-nutritionist, food science & technology and delivery service under one roof to provide wellness solution . A service with help of which patient and it’s family can avail wellness counselling and clinical diet service anywhere across the city. Making this service beyond food service we are trying to create environment where we can give consumer a homely touch and care.
